Planet ZOO 2 vient d’être annoncé ! Six ans après le dernier !

RétrogamingPour fêter les six ans du jeu de construction/simulation de zoo référence du milieu, Frontier Developments vient de partager une vidéo pour retracer ces dernières années. Mais malheur au plus pressé, car il fallait rester jusqu’à la fin de celle-ci pour voir apparaître une image subliminale, suggérant la sortie de Planet Zoo 2 !

Les amateurs de jeux de gestion/construction, vous allez être servis ! En effet, Planet Zoo, le jeu de management de parcs animaliers, va avoir le droit à son deuxième opus, six ans après le dernier. En effet, pour fêter l’anniversaire de celui-ci, les équipes derrière le jeu ont offert à la communauté un joli cadeau.

Et non, vous ne rêvez pas. Cela fait six ans que vous arpentez votre zoo rêvé ? Six ans que vous connaissez tous les moindres recoins de Planet ZOO ? Et bien vous allez bientôt prendre un grand bol d’air frais. En effet, Planet ZOO 2 vient d’être subtilement annoncé lors de la célébration des six ans du jeu initial. Glissé à la fin de la vidéo, seul le “2” de 2026 est resté affiché à l’écran, laissant comprendre qu’un nouvel opus était dans les tuyaux.
Par la suite, Frontier Developments a confirmé la nouvelle, promettant d’en révéler davantage l’an prochain. Une annonce qui ravit les fans : depuis 2019, Planet Zoo s’est imposé comme une référence du genre, grâce à sa profondeur, son réalisme et sa communauté passionnée.
Planet Coaster 2 est sorti l’année dernière, alors il fallait bien que son petit frère ait le droit à sa part de gâteau aussi. En tout cas, une chose est sûre : le studio britannique poursuit donc sur sa lancée et les amateurs de gestion animale peuvent déjà préparer leurs enclos, le roi du zoo est de retour.
Mais alors, à quoi s’attendre ?
Et bien évidemment… À MIEUX ! Déjà que ce premier opus était d’une grande qualité, on peut espérer que ce prochain soit, six ans après, d’une classe au-dessus. Forcément, cela passera par une refonte de l’IA des animaux/visiteurs, une amélioration graphique, de nouvelles fonctionnalités… Enfin bref, beaucoup de choses vont changer pour le mieux de la licence !
En attendant d’en savoir plus, il ne reste plus qu’à spéculer et rêver sur ce que Frontier nous réserve. Une chose est sûre : avec un tel héritage, Planet Zoo 2, fraichement annoncé, porte de grandes attentes sur ses épaules. Le premier opus avait déjà conquis le cœur des joueurs grâce à son souci du détail et à sa communauté passionnée. Nul doute que cette suite saura pousser le concept encore plus loin. Alors, rendez-vous en 2026 pour redonner vie à vos zoos les plus fous !
